235 mg of magnesium per serving, split across three forms so the dose is not all competing for one absorption route.
What it supports
- Normal muscle and nerve function
- Energy production
- Muscle relaxation
- Normal bone mineral density
- Formulated for digestive comfort
Why three forms
Most magnesium supplements use one. A single form loads a single absorption pathway, and whatever the gut does not take up stays in the intestine, which is where magnesium's reputation for digestive upset comes from. Splitting the dose across three forms uses three pathways and keeps more of it in you.
This uses di-magnesium malate, magnesium citrate USP, and Albion® magnesium lysinate glycinate chelate. A chelated mineral is bound to amino acids, which lets it use active transport rather than depending on stomach acid to free the mineral ion. Magnesium oxide, the cheapest and most common form on a shelf, does not work that way. It sits, it waits on acid, and it lingers.
